Currently, the VPWA Children's Home which is part of the Youth Development Centre Construction is on-going and the contribution of volunteers has already begun. You can join us! Moringa Eco-Village will be an eco-tourism site which will raise sustainable revenue for our community projects in Darmang, a rural community in Eastern Region of Ghana. This project has also started so you can be part of it ![]() .
We need volunteers who can assist with the construction of our Youth Development Centre, doing work including carpentry, landscaping, painting and masonry. In the next couple of years we also plan to build several other simple buildings in the village, including an elementary school, a preschool and a community centre. If you can use a hammer, a paintbrush, mix cement or lay blocks, you will be of tremendous help to us. Accommodation:
Volunteers working on VPWA projects live in Greater Accra and Eastern Region. Please confirm your project location with our coordinator. Volunteers live in shared rooms. Couples are adviced to inform us if they wish to share a room in advance. The rooms have comfortable beds with pillows and covers, so there is no need to bring sleeping bags. The volunteer apartment has a kitchen with fridge, as well as toilet and shower facilities. VPWA do not charge to provide below service
