EDUCATION
As a volunteer teaching in Ghana, you will receive assistance from the local school teachers regarding the lesson plans and teaching curriculum. There will be a Teaching Guide book to assist you in your daily work with the children. You will also have a timetable showing time and period you will be in a specific class to teach. Volunteers are asked to assist with lessons Monday to Friday (8:00am -2:30pm) You do not need to be a certified teacher to be able to volunteer on this project. Available Positions

Volunteers working on VPWA projects in Accra lives in our house in Pokuase (north of Accra). Depending on number of volunteers at a time, a volunteer might share room with another person. Maximum of 2 persons per room is allowed. Couples are advice to inform us in advance. The rooms have comfortable beds with pillows so no need to bring sleeping bags. The volunteer apartment has kitchen with fridge. Toilet and shower facility available.
