Entrepreneur, Hayford has successfully managed several projects through an
independent fund raising mechanism presently been shared across Africa by himself. He is the Executive Director of
Volunteer Partnerships for West Africa, a leading resulted oriented non-profit organization Headquartered in Ghana and the
Editor-In-Chief of NGO News Africa, the only news portal dedicated to NGOs in Africa. The inability for mainstream media to give voice to CSOs in Africa led him to launch a dedicated news portal for CSOs, a platform that aggregate and create contents on NGOs in Africa. Hayford is pioneering the voice of Civil Society in Africa and has written several published thought provoking articles on CSOs. His involvement led to his pivotal role in projecting voice of CSOs during President Obama’s visit to Ghana and has granted interviews to both local and international media networks within and outside Africa. Portia Sey

Ms Sey is an equally social enterprising young African and her desire to seek to the welfare and advancement for the cause of young women is unflinching. Portia is also the country Chief Executive Officer for Citrec Worldwide, a worldwide consultancy firm for international trade, real estate and construction. Before joining Citrec, Ms Sey had work with institutions both in Ghana and Nigeria. She holds BA Political Science from University of Ghana. Advance Diploma in System Administration from NIIT-Ghana. Also posses professional certificates in Finance and Management. She is In-charge of Finance and Administration at VPWA. Kirsty Osei-Bempong (PR/Communications Director) Email: kirsty@vpwa.org Kirsty Osei-Bempong is a freelance journalist with 10 years' experience working in business to business publishing in the UK. Her specialist areas include agriculture, the meat industry and health. Keen to develop her growing passion for community development, she spent three months working and living in one of north east Brazil’s poorest communities and most recently worked as a communications officer for United Way Ghana in Accra. There she supported the organisation’s mission to support donors and NGOs in delivering improvements in areas of health, education and resource mobilisation. She is currently reading a Masters degree in International Communications and Development at City University, London. Now afar, she still work as PR/Communication Director for VPWA and also writes for NGO News Africa (www.ngonewsafrica.org), a flagship project of VPWA.

Steve has been a lifelong traveler, visiting 4 continents and many countries in Africa. He has experienced the range of travel services available and has a keen appreciation for the needs of travelers and the comforts and activities they expect. Steve has a B.S. in Business Administration from the Ohio State University and is able to write exceptionally well.
He is the Vice-President of the TransCAP Foundation in the USA, providing educational and medical supplies to schools and clinics in Ghana. Steve’s expertise as a traveler and his ability to communicate extremely well will be an essential asset in our collaboration with North America. During his multiple visits to Ghana, Steve has visited 8 different Regions of Ghana and has an elementary understanding of Twi and Ewe. He will be handling concerns of prospective travelers/volunteers from North America and to coordinate their arrival with the Recruitment and Placement officer in Ghana. Fred Boateng is passionate believer in advancing the cause for equal rights in all spheres of endeavors for women.He is philanthropist and entrepreneur. His love towards helping people started in his early years when he was living in Ghana. His passion for education led him into sponsoring many children for their primary, junior/senior high school and some presently in universities in Ghana. Fred brings into this noble organization a sense of dynamism, attitude and love for humanity. He brings financial discipline to the organization. He is in charge of coordinating VPWA activities in the United Kingdom and sourcing potential partnerships. He holds a degree in Banking and Finance from University of Leicester-UK . Isaac is the country Executive Director of AGE OF VISION AFRICA , a non governmental organization. Before Age of Vision Africa, Isaac had served as General Secretary for International Gospel Missionaries. With his passion to social Services, he was appointed in 1999 till 2001 as the Field Director of BEWARE of AIDS, another NGO which seek to create awareness on HIV AIDS. In all these years, he has continuously worked with volunteers from different part of the world. He understands the challenges of traveling and voluntary work and he brings on board strategic coordination to impact excellently on service delivery to our volunteers allocated to pursue their work in the northern zone of Ghana within our program which is head quartered in Kumasi.
