Hayford founded VPWA in 2007 and has since worked on varied development projects to uplift people from diverse backgrounds around the African continent. He has since the organization’s establishment mobilized volunteers and partners from all continents of the world to work towards sustainable development.
He is a Ford Motors International fellow and studied Management and Leadership at the School of International and Public Affairs(SIPA) – Columbia University with the support of 92Y, New York. He holds Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) – Project Management Option from the University of Ghana Business School.
He speaks at conferences and University events from around the world. He also moderates international conferences, notable among them include the World NGO Day celebration in Helsinki, Finland, and International Conference on Volunteerism at the United Nations Office at Geneva. He is a Thought Leader in the field of Non-Profit Management, Volunteerism and Social Entrepreneurship.
