As a Founding Director of VPWA, Portia provides Administrative support to our thriving organisation in Ghana. All through her life, she has been committed to helping marginalised women and children, especially girls through diverse initiatives. She is the brain behind the award-winning microfinance project of VPWA- MicroQuips, providing small loans and leasing support to women entrepreneurs. She is also In-Charge of the VPWA Children Centre that supports orphan and vulnerable children with holistic care support. She is passionate about improving welfare and opportunities for young women in Africa.
She speaks many African languages and has lived and worked in both Ghana and Nigeria.
